When I visited the work site this morning around 10:30, neither the promised insulators or brick masons were on site. But the carpenters were there cutting and applying siding to the gable over garage number 3. Trying not to be overcome with disappointment, I chose to be thankful for carpenters....and to pray the others would soon arrive.
Fred and I visited together this evening around 6 and were happily surprised to find large bails of insulation sitting in the garage and lots of insulation already applied! And the brick layers had erected scaffolding with bricks stacked ready to go in the morning. Good Good - but then I saw the utility trench had been filled in and bricks were also staged on the north side of our home. All very good.
Fred on south side of property where scaffolding and bricks are ready to go!
Insulation in great room (dark spot is Fred in the kitchen).
Insulation in garage.
Front yard with no trenches - buried utilities are wonderful!
Street view with siding applied over garage #3. Thank you so much for checking in. Any questions?
