Cans, Wires, Boxes, and Decisions

Wednesday and Thursday August 22 and 23

While the plumbers finished running water lines to the outdoor hose bibs and master shower, the electricians arrived and stole the show.  Their Milwaukee radio blared as wires were strung around and over the rooms (term used loosely).  The plumbers quietly finished installing shut-offs to each and every possible place where water will flow, while electrician installed bright blue boxes here there and everywhere, shiney metal cans in the ceiling, and multi-colored wires running in and out of said boxes and cans.  Seriously though the electricians were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

Fred and I made many decisions yesterday evening about where can lights should reside.  I met with Bill early this morning to consult with him to gain his recommendations regarding some "sticky" issues.  As we thought, he was extremely knowledgeable and easily resolved these issues.  The pictures taken this evening show two days of consultation, decision making, and work.

Also noteworthy, the roofers came on Wednesday and laid the first few rows of shingles and did a fabulous job of the corners of the gables.  They came Thursday to continue working on the roof.
